Appointment of Ana Fonseca Nordang as Executive Vice President People and Organization
Ana Fonseca Nordang will join Umicore and the Management Board on September 1st. Anna brings over 20 years of international experience in various executive human resources roles and spent the largest part of her career at Equinor, previously Statoil, where most recently she served as Senior Vice President Renewables. Prior to that, she was the group’s Chief Human Resources Officer. With her solid international track record in human resources, including internal change management programs and diversity and inclusion strategies, Ana will help guide and support Umicore’s global human resources team as they implement their new strategy “Sirius” which fully equips the Umicore colleagues for the coming transformation and unprecedented growth of the company. Ana will continue to ensure, together with the other Management Board members, that the people strategy is kept at the heart of Umicore’s thinking and planning going forward.

Ana dispose de plus de 20 ans d’expérience internationale dans différentes fonctions de direction RH et a passé la majeure partie de sa carrière chez Equinor, anciennement Statoil, où elle a récemment officié en tant que Senior Vice President Renewables. Avant cela, elle fut Chief Human Resources Officer du groupe. Forte d’une solide expérience internationale dans les ressources humaines, notamment dans des programmes internes de gestion du changement et des stratégies de diversité et d’inclusion, Ana guidera et soutiendra l’équipe mondiale des ressources humaines d’Umicore dans la mise en œuvre de sa nouvelle stratégie « Sirius », qui prépare pleinement les collègues d’Umicore à la transformation future et à la croissance sans précédent de la société. Ana Fonseca Nordang vervoegt Umicore en de Directieraad op 1 september. Ana heeft meer dan 20 jaar internationale ervaring in verschillende leidinggevende HR-functies en heeft het grootste deel van haar carrière gewerkt bij Equinor, het vroegere Statoil, waar ze tot nu Senior Vice President Renewables was. Eerder bekleedde ze er de functie Chief Human Resources Officer. Met haar solide internationale staat van dienst in human resources, met inbegrip van interne change management-programma's en diversiteits- en inclusiestrategieën, zal Ana het wereldwijde HR-team van Umicore begeleiden en ondersteunen bij de implementatie van hun nieuwe 'Sirius'-strategie die de Umicore-medewerkers volledig moet uitrusten voor de komende transformatie en ongekende groei van het bedrijf. Samen met de andere leden van de Directieraad zal Ana ervoor blijven zorgen dat de HR-strategie centraal blijft staan bij alles wat Umicore in de toekomst bedenkt en plant.
