What you will be doing:

• Processing purchase orders and operational contracts in SAP Ariba
• Cooperating with internal stakeholders on their regular needs and on efficiency projects (more supply sources, alternative materials incl. following up on possible qualification runs)
• Administration of purchases in SAP / SRM systems
• Following the purchase process from requisition to pay
• Building and maintaining a good relationship with new and existing suppliers
• Reporting of added value in SAP Ariba and spend analysis reporting via Power BI
• Preparing request for information / proposal / quotation documents
• Revision of offers from commercial and technical side in collaboration with experienced buyer or P&T Manager
• Preparation of offer comparisons
• Market screening for new sources for chemicals supply and keeping an eye on evolutions within the chemicals market
• Handling negotiations in terms of total cost of ownership in collaboration with P&T Manager
• Creating and maintaining Supplier Master Data
• Taking part in supplier assessment process

Who we are looking for:

• Ideally 3y of experience in a similar role (within procurement, supply chain)

• Knowledge of or keen interest in the chemical industry

• Proficiency in IT applications (SAP, Microsoft Office, Power BI)

• Experience with SAP Ariba is a plus

• English – C1

• Speaking Dutch is be a plus
