What you will be doing

 

Recruitment strategy & team management 


•    Leading the team of the recruitment  (combined in-house and outsourced profiles)
•    Prepare and conduct recruitment strategy and intake meetings with the Hiring Manager (if needed or requested by the Recruiter or the Hiring Manager
•    Oversee daily operations of the recruitment team 
•    Participate job offer drafting working with stakeholders 

 

Stakeholder alignment & communication


•    Be in close contact with the business stakeholders and align regularly on recruitment needs, volumes and strategies and cascade the information accordingly to the recruiting team within the recruitment team
•    Be in close partnership with the CoEs, especially the TA CoE and the Compensation & Benefits CoE to make sure the team  is following the latest agreed updates on the way of working
•    Partner with the business to align on the right sourcing strategy for a particular set of needs – where the use of an external agency is warranted (will need to define policies and guidelines as to when the business can utilize an agency) to provide final approval for requests outside of predetermined policy

 

Process & policies of recruitment 


•    Manage and own the smooth end-to-end operations of recruiting process 
•    Guaranteeing all the recruitment activities are aligned and following the Umicore Talent Acquisition and Recruitment (quality) standards
•    Facilitate the recruitment process if needed (if requested) depending the job role
•    After the  job posting internally and externally makes sure to assign the primary TA Recruiter
•    Identify need for proactive candidate pool or need to edit/close Evergreen (high volume/ always needed) requisitions
•    Maintain a pulse on the current market relevant to Umicore while sensing the business needs to provide actionable intelligence to build a potential talent pool

 

Recruiting activity / Employer branding


•    Lead employer branding activities aligning with recruiting strategy and plan
•    Oversee external recruiting activities such as job-fairs, campus visits
•    Manage monthly announcement of personnel movement
