What you will be doing

As a Site P&O Coach, you will play a vital role in both Human Resources management. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of HR functions to ensure an optimal support and compliance within the site.

  1. Learning & Development
  • Design and plan site training curriculums for all employee categories in line with corporate/regional training curriculums.
  • Plan and schedule annual training programs based on business needs, required competencies and business goal.
  • Develop new training programs, vendors, and external/internal trainers.
  • Manage legal mandatory trainings and necessary trainings for all Umicore employees.
  • Develop and build strong relationship with external stakeholders.
  • Monitor training records of all trainings and training performance for both internal and external.
  • Report on analytical results for the training and its efficiency measurement.
  • In charge of HRD system(LMS) for reporting purpose

 

  1. Internal Communications
  • Organize quarterly employee communication meetings(townhall meetings)
  • Design and execute CSR activities
  • Plan and execute company employee events with TFT
  • Support internal communication related activities within site level

 

  1. HR Strategy & Vision
  • Support the site HR lead with providing input on the execution of local HR initiatives and implementation of HR programs at the site (cluster).
  • Co-create and support the implementation of local site HR policies and strategies in collaboration with CoE, HR Operations, and Site HR Lead.
  • Contribute to transforming business priorities into local site HR policies and actions.
  • Gather requirements to help with the development of HR programs, processes, and policies for a specific business unit based on business needs.
  • Work with HR BPs or HR head on the active management of HC and FTE evolution.
  1. Consulting, Advising & Coaching
  • Assist the site HR lead with identifying, refining, and documenting HR needs and requests.
  • Contribute to gathering, consolidation, and providing input on local skills and talent needs to the Site Lead.
  • Offer support and preparation to the site HR lead to advise CoEs, HR Operations, and Business Unit leaders and escalate issues to HR Business Partners or HR leadership team as appropriate.
  • Act as an advocate for HR services within the new HR operating model collaborating with HR Operations and COEs especially during the transition into the new model.
  • Be an agent for change management support and engagement for managers toward their teams.
  • Work as a troubleshooter, finding solutions, and debugging issues raised toward HR topics and services.
  1. Programs & Projects
  • Support the implementation and delivery of HR policies, programs, and processes by HR Operations and the CoEs, adjusting based on local needs where required.
  • Gather and share proactively business needs with the site HR lead and business partner team to contribute to overall HR (project) agenda.
  • Support the translation and implementation of HR policies at the site (cluster).
  • Support and deliver upon site-level workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and L&D.
  • In collaboration with the Site HR Lead, prepare C&B packages for blue & white collars on site.
  • Manage employee concerns and queries.
  • Support site-level employee communication.
  • Contribute to the preparation of employee relations activities when required.

 

 

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4~7 years of experience in HR field(L&D experience preferred)
  • Experience in managing LMS is preferred
  • Strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel/PPT/Word
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skill, strong ownership and can-do attitude
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Detail oriented analysis skill
  • Coherent Reporting skill
  • Basic knowledge in labor law and HR regulations
