What you will be doing 

Within the framework of Umicore PMC USA revenue goals and sales objectives, the Sales Administrator will support the North American sales organization for precious metals compounds, provide excellent customer service & support, and interface with key internal and external stakeholders in order to support the revenue and profitability targets of the department.

• Customer Service:  The Sales Administrator will be responsible to ensure that the essential business functions necessary to support PMC manufacturing in Tulsa are met.  These include, but not limited to: new customer processing, order processing, customer support (including information on product specifications & composition, proper product packaging & storage conditions, etc.), customer communication & maintenance, shipping support, invoicing, and customer follow-up.

• Business Development Support:  The Sales Administrator will have responsibility for the preparation of customer price quotations and proposals. 

• Production Support:  The Sales Administrator will provide support to the Production organization as necessary to ensure that customer requirements are met.  This may include TSCA & MSDS support, shipping support, customer communications, etc.

• Other duties as assigned by the Site Manager

The goals for this position over the next 1-3 years are unique and include:

• Supporting the development and implementation of a highly effective customer service organization at the Tulsa facility
• Assisting the business development and production staff in Tulsa as necessary to ensure that customer needs are met

Who we are looking for 

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in a customer service and sales organization
• Knowledge in SAP or similar software helpful but not mandatory
• Proficient in MS Office

• Excellent business communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, virtual/electronic, telephone and presentation
• Strong client management skills and commercial focus
• A positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new customer management tools
• Ability to use own initiative and be proactive
• Must have a team success mentality and look to collaborate closely to achieve results wherever opportunities are found.
