What you will be doing:
- Support the collection and cleansing of data.
- Analyse data related to procurement activities and operational expenditures across all Business Units / Sites
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets to support decision-making processes.
- Translate sites and business needs into data requirements to deliver actionable insights.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to optimize procurement processes and strategies and reduce costs:
- Identify synergies between the sites, and propose consolidation of the spend / resourcing actions / new market shares allocation to Project Managers
- Identify best practices per category and site and report to Project Managers for further deployment
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular audits and validations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics and procurement.
- Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Who are we looking for:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a procurement or supply chain environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis of data from multiple sources (SAP, Ariba, Excel, Power BI, sourcing pipe lines)
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication, synthesis and presentation skills, explain complex concepts with ease
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- English: B2
