What you will be doing

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI models and algorithms to address complex business challenges, such as customer segmentation, recommendation systems, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to build and maintain data pipelines for training and deploying machine learning and AI models.
  • Experiment with various machine learning and AI techniques and methodologies to achieve high performance and accuracy of models.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate ML and AI frameworks, libraries, and tools based on the nature of the problem and project requirements, in close collaboration with Corporate IT and Corporate R&D.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI and apply them to improve existing models and processes.
  • First point of contact for the key user community in AC when they have questions related to Machine Learning solutions.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining technical and non-technical documentation for machine learning and AI solutions, models, and processes.
     

Who we are looking for

An enthusiastic colleague with:

  • A graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a Machine Learning and AI Engineer role.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience in building and deploying machine learning models in production environments, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (Fluent English is required, German is a plus).
