What you will be doing
Due to the growth and global presence of UBM, a dedicated function within information and cyber security is vital. UBM has invested in an IT infrastructure template that meets market standards and is being implemented across all entities, becoming the standard for future expansion plans. The future looks bright for UBM! For that reason we need to stay on top of our game.
The Information Security and Infrastructure Manager is responsible for protecting UBM's information systems and data from cyber threats, including developing and implementing security strategies and policies, monitoring for breaches, and responding to incidents. This role is very exciting and involves collaborating with security teams and other departments to integrate security into all operations, implementing and maintaining security systems, conducting regular assessments, staying up-to-date on cybersecurity trends, and providing employee training on standard processes. The Manager will also prepare response and recovery plans for cyberattacks and keep the organization advised about such issues.
The key focus or role of the jobholder can be summarized as following (always in close collaboration with the IT infrastructure team):
Protect your organization's information systems and data with our expert Information Security and Infrastructure Manager. We develop and implement security strategies and policies, supervise for security breaches, and respond to incidents. We collaborate with other departments to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of operations and implement and maintain security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Regular security assessments and staying up-to-date with cybersecurity trends keep us ahead of threats. Our team can also provide training and education to employees on security best practices, ensuring compliance with corporate IT standards. Build and manage relationships with external security vendors and partners with our Information Security and Infrastructure Manager. Finally, this role entails strong professional growth opportunities for continuous learning and staying ahead of cybersecurity trends.
Besides that you need to:
Ensure the availability and reliability of the organization's IT systems and networks to support the business operations.
- Implement cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's data and systems from cyber threats.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization's technology infrastructure and cybersecurity.
- Define and implement plans to modernize and upgrade the organization's IT systems and networks to meet evolving business needs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to technology infrastructure and cybersecurity.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure technology infrastructure and cybersecurity are coordinated into the organization's overall business strategy.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to teams of IT and security professionals to ensure technology infrastructure and cybersecurity efforts are aligned with the goal of Umicore
- Build and manage relationships with external vendors and partners to support the organization's technology infrastructure and cybersecurity efforts.
- Create a cyber security roadmap on IT & OT environment.

Who we are looking for
Bachelor/Master degree in field of IT/Informatics with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Information Security area in automotive domain.
- ISO/IEC 27001, TISAX knowledge, audit experience.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze security requirements and relate them to appropriate security controls.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles, as a means of relating business needs to security controls.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, negotiation, conviction and relationship management.
