What you will be doing

The Treasury Manager will be in charge of:

-      Supervising the China treasury team in its day to day activities, providing guidance, support and supervision; The role will ensure that the team is well integrated, despite remote location, and that communication within the team and with APAC/Group Treasury is efficient; traveling on ad hoc basis;

-      Performing on daily basis the treasury activities of the various entities in scope, including:

o     Cash management activities: daily cash position calculation and report, weekly cash forecast (together with local BU), domestic and cross-border CNY pooling, bank account management;

o     Short term funding operations: bank loans, overdraft, group loans based on cash forecasting and availability of credit lines;

o     FX hedging operations: based on hedging requests sent by local BU teams, dealing with relationship banks;

o     Bank Acceptance Draft management and other trade finance instruments, on the issuance and collection sides, in close coordination with local BU, and based on Group policies

-      Supporting the APAC treasury manager in bank relationship management (bank visit & call, bank ID card, scorecard, survey…);

-      Promoting treasury best practice, digitization and process enhancement on front-end and back-end sides;

-      Contributing to various treasury reporting, including Financial Results, BAD and Trade Finance Report, Cash Forecast, Net Financial Position, FX result,….

-      Ensuring close collaboration with GFS team (Accounting, Payment Factory) and other business partners (BU local site, Tax,…)

-      Ensuring compliance with internal Group policies and guidelines (FX hedging, bank relationship, funding, dividend)  and external regulations (SAFE, PBoC,…);

-      Staying abreast of development and innovation, regulation easing in the treasury fields.

Who we are looking for

Candidate must possess

-      A bachelor degree or higher in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent;

-      6-10 years experience in finance and treasury within a multinational company or financial institution

-      Proven exposure to international banks and strong interest in process improvements, digitalization and finance products

Candidate must demonstrate

-      Good command both in Mandarin and English,

-      Excellent communication & presentation skills

-      Team leading interest

-      Analytical mindset, high integrity, proactivity and transparency
