What you will be doing

As the Anaplan Platform Owner within Umicore Battery Materials' Business IT and Digitalization team, you will be instrumental in managing and integrating our planning cycles - S&OE, S&OP, and IBP. This role is critical in supporting our strategic objectives in the battery materials sector and realizing our connected planning vision at Battery Materials. Your contributions will ensure our planning and forecasting capabilities are robust and agile, maintaining our leadership in the rapidly evolving energy landscape and facilitating quicker decision-making.

Your Contributions:

Full responsibility for the Anaplan solution within the battery materials unit, from identifying the roadmap and use cases to executing them and then providing support and maintenance for the delivered use cases.

• Lead the Platform Roadmap Planning and align it with business strategies.
• Develop project plans and timelines, ensuring resource availability and allocation.
• Translate business requirements into Anaplan solutions, ensuring stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee project milestones and budgets, delivering complex use-cases effectively.
• Track and communicate progress to Steerco
• Ensure alignment and preparation of planning cycles across the different business domains.
• Coordinate change request, issue resolution and user support activities.

Who we are looking for

• We are looking for Business or IT Managers with a solid foundation in project management and a proven track record in overseeing (Anaplan) implementations, particularly within complex organizational structures.
• Prospective candidates must possess strong project management skills and a solution-oriented mindset. Strong leadership qualities and the ability to communicate across various domains are essential.
• The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player, highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Strategic thinking is a must.
• Certifications in 'The ANAPLAN Way' is a plus and ideally hold a Project Management certification (PRINCE 2 or PMP) or have substantial Project Management experience.
• Previous Anaplan implementation experience as model builder, Solutions architect or Delivery management is a pro
